Assistant Professor in Information Systems

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems in the Woody L. Hunt College of Business at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications from qualified candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Systems (Artificial Intelligence) at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with teaching experience/interest in all areas of Artificial Intelligence and research experience/interest in all areas of Information Systems will be considered. Salary and benefits are AACSB-competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include publishing scholarly research in high-quality academic journals, teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and providing service to the college and university. The expected starting date is September 1, 2026. Hiring decisions are subject to final budget approval.

Job Requirements:
Completion of a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution by the start date is required, along with strong evidence of potential publication success in high-quality journals and quality instruction. Collegiality and excellent communication skills are important.
