Senior Business Systems Analyst (2 Positions)

Two regular, full-time positions, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The individuals selected for these positions will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:
MiraCosta College Board Policy 7800: Employee Residency requires all classified staff, administrators, and temporary/hourly short-term employees to maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in the state of California that is within two hundred (200) road miles from the employee's regularly assigned district worksite.

The District may consider an individual's request to temporarily reside outside the State of California or beyond the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, provided it does not exceed 12 consecutive months.

Under direction, perform difficult to complex business and systems analyses of current business practices, processes and work flows in assigned business areas and recommend modifications or new processes to facilitate integration with designated enterprise system module processes; perform highly technical duties to support administration and production of assigned systems and databases; develop testing and implementation plans for new systems, system enhancements and upgrades; review projects following implementation to ensure compliance with specifications; collaborate with deans, administrators and staff on system and operational improvements and third-party system integrations research, diagnose and resolve a wide range of system issues and problems; oversee and provide guidance for ongoing technical support, help desk and user training activities; and perform related duties as assigned.

Starting at $99,966 per year (range 32, step 1), with annual salary step increases up to step 5.
